ARLINGTON

This shady garden sits behind a house in one of London’s most charming squares.  The pace of life here is gentle and calm; an important sensation we brought to this space.

Restrained, muted, monochromatic planting, gentle hard landscaping with limited materials and simple furniture were combined for this relaxed oasis. Planting included Actinidia kolomikta and Rosa Albrighton on the walls and Salvia officinalis ‘Purpurascens’, Athyrium niponicum and Veronica pascal (H) in the rambling beds.

Stone bench seating is bathed in sun during the afternoon at a table for 8 and room was found for outdoor cooking.
